CTF uses very powerful / versatile and sophisticated design software to ensure the elegance, integrity, and accuracy of each timber frame we provide. Our designers come from various educations, work experiences, and countries. Carpenters, Master Timber Framers, and Engineering Technologists all work together in one design office. This co-mingling of knowledge and experience works to benefit you and provide the optimal final design of your new timber frame home.
CTF's designers prefer to develop timber frame structures from existing architectural drawings or house plans that you have provided. However, if your project is currently only a vision or concept, or if preliminary drawings exist, CTF will introduce you to one of our associated Architects or Designers.
CTF will also work with your General Contractor, architect, designer and engineer. We have participated successfully on projects with clients and their design teams across North America.
