The Rombach residence is a work of love conceived by a wife who wanted to return her invalid husband to the openness and closeness to nature he enjoyed all of his life. She also wanted to capture in timber frame an atmosphere of religious contemplation which she experienced in her childhood in Europe.

The result is an award winning timber frame home open to natural light and the changing moods of the sky, the lake and the mountains.
