Our large log inventory allows us to carefully select only high quality Douglas fir timbers for your home. These logs are sorted and stacked in our log yard to air dry, then when your frame is finalized, we cut the logs into cants on our circular sawmill. This is the first step of quality control on your project. Our bucker men, sawyers, and tail sawyers all have long term experience with timber harvesting, processing, and grading. Although our air dried Douglas fir inventory is our most commonly used product, we are able to source kiln dried Douglas fir and Western Red Cedar or recycled material if desired. The off cuts left over from sawing a raw log into a square timber are sorted and stored on site. This side lumber is valuable for many applications and is sold seasonally - minimum order sizes may apply.
