Growing up on a farm in Ontario, work often found itself within the shadows and protection of many turn of the century hand cut timber frame barns. The appreciation for these structures inspired what is now a 32 year career in the Industry. In the mid 80's Jeff started a 20 year involvement with an Ontario based timber frame firm. In 2006, requirements of many projects, architects and clients led Jeff to resign from this eastern firm and strike out toward the west and source what he would later refer to as a "Premier Boutique Timber Frame Manufacturer". In 2011 Jeff was invited to join Canadian Timberframes as a partner, to direct business development and growth through his vision of marketing, customer service and expanded product lines. Jeff enjoys being "on the ground" monthly throughout Canada and the US, whether at shows or consulting with clients, architects and builders.
"Jeff's true grounding comes from time spent in the mountains, whether skiing, biking or just taking it all in"

"I grew up in Germany a few kilometers from where Hundegger machines are manufactured so it was logical for me to complete my university studies on how these machines improve productivity in the timber frame industry. This knowledge opened doors for me to work in North America." Joachim successfully contributed his design talents to timber frame companies in Tennessee and Ontario where he was also instrumental in implementing HSB design software to guide the production of cutting the timber frame from handwork to machine precision. In the summer of 2012 he acted on an opportunity to join our team and headed west with his "Canadian" wife to settle in Golden. This time his travels takes him to the B.C. mountains where yet another passion takes hold on the slopes.
"Leben ist gut! (Life is good)."

“Wood is a material that has always appealed to me; there is nothing better than smelling the scent of fresh cut wood when you arrive to work. Creating a structure out of a natural resource is also very rewarding; I can apply my knowledge of modeling software towards making beautiful and functional living spaces in some of the most spectacular locations for our customers.”
Having built her career in administration roles, Andrea is looking forward to learning more about the timber framing industry and continuing to grow her expertise as an administrator.
