Contemporary Hybrid Timber Home in Alberta
This contemporary hybrid timber home in central Alberta utilizes timber joinery in both a structural and decorative capacity. This home features exterior structural timber, with brackets and posts supporting the roof overhangs. A timber frame was added to the exterior front entry, creating a welcoming path inside. Decorative timber trim was added to the exterior of the great room windows as a decorative element. All of the timbers were planed and stained.
